Lock Upp season 2’s latest episode was packed with drama, action and emotion. The episode also witnessed the return of OG host of Lock Upp Kangana Ranaut and the first elimination. However, the episode turned emotional when Akanksha Chamola learnt that Shreya Kalra had disclosed her secret of being a bise*ual to take revenge on her. As soon as Akanksha found out what Shreya had done, she broke down in tears.In the latest episode, Akanksha spoke about her sexuality and revealed that she had been in relationships with women before her marriage. During the conversation, she said, “Main shaadi se pehle bise*ual thi.”Akanksha got emotional in front of hosts Riteish Deshmukh and Farah Khan after finding out that her trust had been broken, her secret was out, and her lifeline was wasted by Shreya. She was shown Shreya and Sufi’s video where Shreya was revealing her secret.

Akanksha opens up about her sexuality

When Riteish asked her to reveal the truth, she said, “Main shaadi se pehle bisexual thi. Mere relations rahe hain kuch ladkiyon ke sath.” She further clarified that she had not been in deeply intimate relationships with women but had been in relationships with them.”She added, “Bahot jyada intimate relations nahi rahe hain but I have been in relations with a few females.” She admitted that she is attracted to women because she feels safer around them. “Mujhe ladkiyan pasand hai, main admire karti hoon, attract hoti hoon unki taraf. I think mera wo safe space hai.”

Akanksha says she always felt comfortable around women

Further in the conversation, Akanksha said she always felt safer with women while growing up because she believed the world was dominated by men. She found comfort in her mother and sister, she said, “For me, all females are beautiful.” The actress further said that while society has given her the label of “bisexual,” for her, it is simply “pure love.”

Both Farah and Riteish praised Akanksha for her courage and owning up her truth.Later, Akanksha was announced safe from elimination by inmates’ votes. After she went inside the house, Akanksha lashed out at Shreya and called her evil. She said, “I have not seen a more evil person in the whole world who is so heartless and insensitive. You said that I didn’t support you. But what you told Sufi, something which I hadn’t even shared with you, something I talked about backstage, you overheard it. You were not a part of the conversation and you used it. So what I want to tell you guys is that don’t trust this woman. Because she included in the game something that wasn’t even a part of it. She can go to any extent to backstab any one of you. God bless you I hope God and your karma grand you some peace, and your heart be purged of the filth and hatred towards others.”Akanksha was recently in the news for announcing her separation from husband Gaurav Khanna on the Lock Upp 2 premiere episode. She even mentioned that they have been living separately for the last one year.
