The vehicle came from behind to hit mother-daughter duo
Vadodara: A mother-daughter duo suffered grievous injuries after being hit by a speeding car in Lunavada town of Mahisagar district on Saturday. Both victims were admitted to the hospital and are under treatment.The police tracked down the car driver identified as Kanu Rawal and arrested him. Taslim Sipai and her mother Farjana Sipai were walking on the road when a speeding car came from behind. The driver suddenly swerved his car towards them and rammed the vehicle into the victims.Taslim, 22, and Farjana, 43, were flung in the air while the car crashed into the wall of a house. The driver soon regained control of the car and escaped from the spot. A CCTV camera installed on a house captured the incident.
