Born on August 14, 1980, she works as a physical education teacher at Delhi Public School, R.K. Puram, while representing India on the international stage.She rose to national prominence after winning India’s historic first Commonwealth Games lawn bowls gold medal in the women’s fours event at Birmingham 2022, alongside Lovely Choubey, Nayanmoni Saikia, and Rupa Rani Tirkey. Pinki has also won multiple medals at the Asian Lawn Bowls Championships, including gold in Malaysia (2023) and Clark, Philippines (2025), besides a bronze at the 2009 Asia Pacific Championships.A veteran of four Commonwealth Games, Pinki has been selected as the Skip in India’s Women’s Pairs team with Rupa Rani Tirkey for the 2026 Commonwealth Games in Glasgow.
