Malayalam star Dulquer Salmaan has multiple projects in his pipeline and one of the remains the much awaited Telugu romance drama ‘Sri Sri’. The film is directed by debutant Ravi Nelakuditi and stars Pooja Hegde as the female lead. As per the latest buzz, the team has returned to Hyderabad after completing a long overseas shoot.
‘Sri Sri’ team returns to Hyderabad
According to a report by Cinema Express, the makers returned to Hyderabad after a long overseas shooting schedule in Budapest, Hungary. Several important scenes were filmed during the schedule. Key actors of the film including Dulquer Salmaan, Pooja Hegde and Deekshith Shetty were all part of the shoot. With this schedule completed, the makers have almost finished filming the movie.

The makers recently unveiled the film’s first look and also released the song ‘Bomma Bomma’, which received a good response from the audience. The song shows the leading pair being on a trip around the mountains. They can be seen on a railway station and are on a trekking trip.

It is also suggested that Pooja Hegde’s character plays a very important role in the story, with much of the film revolving around her. The movie is expected to be an important project in her career as she aims to make a strong comeback in Telugu cinema. After the blockbuster ‘Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo’ in 2020, she has appeared in a few Telugu films and is now hoping ‘Sri Sri’ will become another big success.Apart from her Telugu films, Pooja Hegde was last seen in the Hindi romance comedy, ‘Hai Jawani Toh Ishq Hona Hi Hai’ starring Varun Dhawan and Mrunal Thakur.Apart from Dulquer Salmaan and Pooja Hegde, ‘Sri Sri’ also features Deekshith Shetty and Jagapathi Babu in an important role. The makers have announced that the film’s release date will be revealed soon.

Meanwhile, Dulquer Salmaan has back-to-back projects in Telugu cinema. Along with ‘Sri Sri’, he is also working on ‘Aakasamlo Oka Thara’ which also features Shruti Haaasan.The film has music composed by GV Prakash Kumar.The film is expected to be released in multiple languages.
