Tamil superstar Suriya’s latest film ‘Vishwanath And Sons’ is currently enjoying a positive response on the big screens. The film written and directed by Venky Atluri features Mamitha Baiju as the female lead. As it was released in theatres on August 14, the film has already made fans curious regarding its OTT debut.

According to a report by Deccan Chronicle, OTT giant Netflix has reportedly acquired the digital streaming rights of ‘Vishwanath And Sons’.Although makers and the OTT platform haven’t shared any official details regarding the film’s digital release, it is expected that viewers can enjoy the film at home after it completes its theatrical run.It is speculated that the film will begin streaming sometime around in September or October 2026. It is imperative to mention that the film’s date also depends on its theatrical performance and the agreement between the producers and the streaming platform.

He enjoys a simple, quiet and disciplined life, but a twist comes after a much younger woman, Mamitha Baiju openly expresses her love for him.The film also features Radikaa Sarathkumar, Raveena Tandon, Nassar, Sudha, Kalyani Natarajan, Raghu Babu, Sunil Reddy, Rajiv Menon, Bhavani Sri, Viva Harsha, Kaali Venkat, George Maryan, Hyper Aadhi, Srija Ravi and Sarvadaman Banerjee. According to trade analyst Sacnilk, ‘Vishwanath And Sons’ earned around Rs 15.15 crore net in India on Day 1, with 5,034 shows and an overall occupancy of 42.2%. For now, the film is continuing its theatrical run, while fans will have to wait for an official announcement regarding its digital release.
