10 Indian states ranked highest for civic sense and responsible public behaviour; check if your state made it to the list

Civic sense, a common knowledge but not many people follow it. Civic sense is often visible in the smallest everyday actions. The Gross Domestic Behaviour (GDB) Survey 2025, conducted by the India Today Group in collaboration with How India Lives and Kadence International, attempted to measure these attitudes across India. The survey covered 9,188 respondents across 21 states and one Union Territory, examining civic behaviour alongside public safety, gender attitudes, and diversity and discrimination.
