Maruti Suzuki India has launched the updated Brezza. The model, as part of this update, comes with slightly revised styling, new tech, additional safety features, and a new engine option. The refreshed SUV continues to rival the Tata Nexon, Hyundai Venue, Kia Sonet, Mahindra XUV 3XO and Skoda Kylaq. Here’s everything that you need to know.
2026 Maruti Suzuki Brezza: Design and cabin
On the outside, the changes are subtle. The facelifted Brezza gets a redesigned front grille with dark chrome accents, a new front bumper, updated fog lamp housings and newly styled alloy wheels. Customers can also opt for dual-tone body cladding, while the rear styling remains largely unchanged from the outgoing model.The biggest updates are inside the cabin. The dashboard has been redesigned around a larger 10.1-inch touchscreen infotainment system. The new setup supports wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay and is paired with an ARKAMYS premium audio system. Higher-spec ZXi+ variants also get ARKAMYS Surround Sense, Suzuki’s Next Gen Connect telematics suite with built-in Alexa, over-the-air software updates and voice commands activated with the “Hi Suzuki” wake phrase. The instrument cluster has also been upgraded with a TFT colour display on the ZXi and ZXi+ variants.Maruti has also enhanced the comfort and convenience package. The updated Brezza now offers ventilated front seats, a wireless smartphone charger with active cooling, automatic climate control, an air purifier with PM2.5 display, an electric sunroof, 64-colour ambient lighting on the top variant, leatherette upholstery in a dark brown and black finish, a soft-touch dashboard, an electric sunroof and a 360-degree camera.
2026 Maruti Suzuki Brezza: Safety
Safety sees one of the biggest upgrades. The Brezza becomes only the third Maruti Suzuki model in India to offer Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS), after the Victoris and e Vitara. Depending on the variant, the SUV is available with features such as blind spot warning with lane change assist, rear cross-traffic alert, safe exit warning, front parking sensors and a tyre pressure monitoring system. Standard safety equipment across the range includes six airbags, Electronic Stability Program with Hill Hold Assist, ISOFIX child seat mounts, front seat belt pre-tensioners with force limiters and reverse parking sensors with infographic display.
2026 Maruti Suzuki Brezza: Powertrain
Under the bonnet, the SUV can be had with a new 1.0-litre Boosterjet turbo-petrol engine paired with a 6-speed manual. This powerplant makes 110 hp and 170 Nm.The Brezza also continues with the 1.5-litre NA petrol engine (103 hp, 140 Nm) featuring Smart Hybrid technology. It is available with a 6-speed manual or a 6-speed automatic gearbox with paddle shifters, with the automatic claiming a fuel efficiency of 20.17 kmpl. Customers looking for a CNG option can choose the factory-fitted S-CNG version, which delivers a claimed efficiency of 26.90 km/kg while retaining usable boot space thanks to its underbody cylinder layout.Dimensionally, the Brezza remains unchanged, measuring 3,995 mm in length, 1,790. The refreshed Brezza will be offered in four trims: LXi, VXi, ZXi and ZXi+. Buyers can choose from seven exterior colours, including the new Vivacious Orange and Lustrous Beige shades, alongside Pearl Arctic White, Sizzling Red, Splendid Silver, Magma Grey and Bluish Black. Dual-tone options with a Bluish Black roof will also be available. Maruti Suzuki is offering a standard warranty of three years or 1,00,000 km, extendable up to six years.
