While Christopher Lambert had been gearing up for his events and photo op at the Steel City Con in Pennsylvania, he was unable to complete his schedule because he was feeling unwell. TMZ reported that the actor abruptly left the scene due to a medical emergency. Although no major details about the ‘Highlander’ actor’s incident were shared online, it was confirmed that he is doing better now. The outlet also reported that witnesses at the site of the incident watched the actor collapse.The official team behind Steel City Con announced on their Facebook page that the actor would soon return to the event as scheduled. They had written, “Christopher Lambert had to leave the event due to a personal issue. Return time TBD. Photo op cancelled,” in their post. In another statement provided to PEOPLE on August 9, the convention team shared, “Christopher was feeling a little overheated and dehydrated. He had to sit down, but he is doing great today.”
The team from the festival confirmed that he would not be returning for photo ops after collapsing. However, he is still scheduled to appear at some events. (Facebook)
