Police registered a case against Abhijeet Dipke and others for entering a government school

LATUR: Police in Maharashtra’s Latur district have registered a case against Cockroach Janta Party (CJP) founder Abhijeet Dipke and others for allegedly entering a government school without permission, disrupting classes and threatening teachers, according to news agency PTI.The First Information Report (FIR) was registered at Ausa police station after a complaint by Sayyed Shamshadbano Khairatali, 53, a teacher at a Zilla Parishad Urdu school.Dipke has been visiting government schools across Latur as part of the CJP’s ‘School Thik Karo’ (Improve Government Schools) campaign, during which he has highlighted problems faced by schools.The alleged incident took place at a ZP Urdu school in Jawali near Ausa, more than 500km from Mumbai.According to the complaint, Dipke and his associates entered the school without permission, sat among the students and questioned them. The visit allegedly disrupted classes and official work.Dipke also recorded the proceedings and shared the video on social media, the complaint alleged.It further alleged that he claimed students from another school had been brought in and made to sit in classrooms during his visit.The complaint said Dipke also threatened to have the teachers suspended.Police have registered the case under Sections 132, 329(3), 351(2) and 356(2) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS).The sections relate to assault or use of criminal force against a public servant, house trespass, criminal intimidation and criminal defamation.
