Former India captain MS Dhoni marked his 45th birthday in style as he was spotted in the hospitality stands at Trent Bridge during the third T20I between India and England in Nottingham. The legendary wicketkeeper-batter became the centre of attention when broadcasters showed him on the big screen, with the sight of “Captain Cool” drawing a huge cheer from the crowd.

Dhoni’s appearance at Trent Bridge quickly became one of the biggest talking points of the evening. Photos and videos of the Chennai Super Kings icon enjoying the match from the hospitality suite flooded social media platforms, with fans celebrating his birthday and sharing tributes across X, Instagram and other platforms.

England thrash India by 125 Runs

England delivered a commanding all-round performance to defeat India by 125 runs in the third T20I at Trent Bridge, securing an unassailable 2-0 lead in the five-match series after the opening game was washed out. The defeat was India’s heaviest by runs in men’s T20I history, with the visitors bowled out for just 76 in 11.4 overs.After being asked to bat, England posted 201/7, built around Philip Salt’s 70 off 44 balls and an unbeaten 41 from Sam Curran. Debutant Prince Yadav (2/30) and Harshit Rana (2/40) impressed for India, but the visitors struggled to contain England in the death overs.India’s chase never took off as Jofra Archer (3/29) and Josh Tongue (4/28) ripped through the top order. India lost their first five wickets inside six overs for the first time in T20I history before being bundled out for 76. Adil Rashid claimed the final wicket, sealing England’s biggest win of the series and extending Shreyas Iyer’s wait for his first victory as India’s full-time T20I captain.
