WBJEE 2026 Round 2 allotment: The West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination Board (WBJEEB) is scheduled to release the WBJEE 2026 Round 2 seat allotment result today, July 21, 2026. Candidates who participated in the counselling process will be able to check their allotment status by logging into the official WBJEEB portal using their credentials.The allotment link is expected to become active between 12.00 pm and 4.00 pm. Once the result is announced, candidates can download their provisional allotment letter and complete the admission formalities within the prescribed deadline. Those allotted a seat must follow the reporting schedule carefully, as failure to complete the required steps may result in cancellation of the allotted seat.Important counselling datesCandidates allotted seats in Round 2 should complete fee payment, reporting and document verification within the notified timeline.

After logging in with their WBJEE roll number, password and security pin, candidates can view their allotted institute and course. The provisional allotment letter should be downloaded and retained for future admission procedures.Admission process after allotmentFreshly allotted candidates must pay the non-refundable seat acceptance fee of Rs 5,000 through the available online payment modes to confirm their allotted seat. Candidates whose allotment has been upgraded should download the revised allotment letter and report to the newly allotted institute.Candidates who are not satisfied with their current allotment and wish to continue in the counselling process can register for the Round 3 Mop-Up round, scheduled between July 24 and July 26.Reporting requirements and seat allocationAccording to the counselling guidelines, candidates choosing either the freeze or upgrade option must report physically to the allotted institute for document verification after paying the seat acceptance fee. Failure to complete physical reporting within the deadline will lead to automatic cancellation of the allotted seat.The counselling process also reserves 10 per cent of the approved seats in participating self-financing institutions for candidates qualified through JEE Main. During verification, candidates must ensure that documents, including domicile certificate, rank card and income certificate where applicable, match the details submitted during registration.
